Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Name of Product: S90 ES Synthesizer Units: About 1,100 Distributor: Yamaha Corporation of America, of Buena Park, Calif. Hazard: Unit could emit loud "white noise" when turned off and turned on again under high temperature conditions, which could possibly damage a consumer's hearing. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The S90 ES Synthesizer is black with a black and white keyboard. "S90 ES" and "Yamaha" are written on the front of the synthesizer. Sold at: Musical instrument retailers and dealers from August 2005 through October 2005 for a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $2,599. Manufactured in: Japan Remedy: Yamaha will contact each customer to arrange for a repair or replacement at no cost to the customer.
